This is the second largest triathlon in the UK behind the London Triathlon, with over 6,000 participants and 15,000 spectators, set inthe beautiful, picturesque grounds of Blenheim palace.
The 2011 event was touched with a bit of glamour and celebrity with Pippa Middleton who ran the 5k as part of a Team Relay, Iwan Thomas in the sprint distance section, while Jenson Button and his girlfriend, Jessica Michibata did the full tri.
Blenheim is one of the most scenic triathlons on the domestic calandar and is a great way to get into triathlon in asafe environment as it takes place on closed roads. So why not dip your toes in the water and take on this challenge in aid of WellChild.
