WellChild Families

Share, Support and Speak Out

We understand the importance of the support you receive from other parents. WellChild has a growing network of parents and carers, all of whom have children who are seriously ill with a long term condition or complex health needs.

“Having a sick child, your routine changes so much. You are in your own little world, which is very isolating, and can make things feel worse. You need connections with other people."  Steve, dad of Molly aged 16 and Hannah aged 19.

We have set up the following ways you can become a part of the WellChild family – so that you can share, support and speak out in the easiest way for you:

If you are unsure of the above option to choose or would like to learn more about going online then follow the link here. This section provides resources to going online and the steps we have taken to help ensure parents safety when doing so.

We want to reach out to as many families as possible throughout the UK. Download our Connecting Families leaflet and share with others who you think may also benefit from this.
