As the national charity for sick children, WellChild is committed to being a voice for parents, carers, children and young people, especially those with long-term complex health needs.
We want to improve the understanding of the many financial, practical and emotional factors that families face when they have a child...
How you can speak out and be heard:
- Join in our campaigns – We are currently re-launching our Better at Home Campaign. There will be a greater focus on the experience of families, and the inclusion of care closer to home as well as care at home. Keep an eye on our website, facebook and twitter for more news about the campaign and how you can get involved.
- Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter or join our Blog - here we will keep you up to date with the launch of consultations, and how you can respond either individually or through us here at WellChild. See our icons
- Become a member of our ‘WellChild Families’ Group – When visiting our Facebook page, you can request to join our private area for families. Only open to WellChild families, this closed group gives you a safe and private space to talk to other families and tell us about the issues that affect you.
- Get involved with our activities and tell us what you think – It is vital that our activities and services are driven by you. By listening to your views, we can develop our activities in a way that is right for you and reacts to the changing environment for families. Check it out here.
