Rhian Greenslade qualified as a registered general nurse in 1992 and worked on a general medical ward for several years. In 1998 she started voluntary work with adults with learning disabilities then in 2000 she began the role of a special needs school nurse delivering holistic care for children and young people with profound learning and physical disabilities.

Her role involves liaising between the children’s hospital for Wales, the Community children’s Nursing team and the special needs health visitors, to aid transition of children with complex health needs from the acute setting into the home. She ensures the child and family have support and teaching they require to care for their child confidently and competently. 

Rhian's interests include reading, walking, swimming and supporting her children in their after school activities.
