Cathy is currently Associate Nurse Director, Strategic Development, in NHS Fife. Her current portfolio is broad and varied, with a focus on improving the patient experience and the health and wellbeing of the people of Fife through nursing and midwifery education and practice.

Cathy has held clinical, education, managerial and professional leadership posts in a range of NHS organisations and was Professional Adviser for Children’s Nursing and Child Health at the Nursing and Midwifery Council from 2006 until 2008.
