Who We Are

WellChild is the national charity for sick children. Our aim is simple – we are working to support children and young people throughout the UK as they deal with the consequences of serious illness and complex conditions.

We focus on three key areas of care, support and research, and we work with our incredible WellChild Nurses, some of the top medical researchers in the country and our fantastic volunteers to make a positive difference to the lives of children who need us now and in the future.

We have a supportive Patron in Prince Harry, a skilled team of staff at our Cheltenham HQ, a committed Board of Trustees, some essential expertise through the dedicated members of our advisory panels, and the profile of our celebrity supporters.

All of this – together with the generosity and support of members of the public right across the UK – contributes to the growing success of WellChild.
