Case Studies - Isaac
Isaac has an undiagnosed condition with a variety of characteristics such as
generalised developmental delay, widespread hypoxia, facial dysmorphism, left side plagiocephaly
and micrognathia, cleft palate, narrow nasal passages, hearing and visual problems.
WellChild were approached by Isaac's mum to decorate the living room of her
house and to replace the carpet in the hall, lounge and dining room to enable her to manoeuvre
Isaac's chair more easily around the house. As Issac spends quite a lot of time out of his chair, she also asked Helping Hands to make the floor a more hygienic environment for Isaac to lie on. WellChild Helping Hands volunteers came to the rescue as part of a team building exercise.

helpful”.
“It exceeded my expectations because so many little extras were done as
well, the main rooms are fantastic and we are all thrilled”.
“It will make a huge difference to family life – Isaac will be able to move from
room to room easily and will be able to join in everything we are doing”.
