Top author Adele is new WellChild Ambassador
Famous author Adele Parks has kindly agreed to become the latest WellChild Celebrity Ambassador. Following her attendance at the 2011 WellChild Awards, best selling novelist Adele has agreed to promote and support WellChild in our work with seriously ill children and their families. more
   
   
A Helping Hand for Sekinat
Nine year old Sekinat from Kent lives with Cerebral Palsy and WellChild teamed up with volunteer workers from the company Experian in one of our Helping Hands projects to give her a garden suitable for her to play outside in her wheelchair. more
   
   
New research fellowship
A new WellChild funded research fellowship been launched this month to
investigate ways to prevent and treat the potentially devastating infection CMV which affects three or four babies in every 1,000 born in the UK, and up to 10 in every 1,000 in developing countries. more
