Ozleworth Park Estate open garden and family fun day - Sunday 5 June 2011

Despite the downpours, the open garden and family fun day at the stunning Ozleworth Park Estate near Wotton-under-Edge (map) was a great success.
Visitors enjoyed the fabulous gardens, followed by refreshments and wonderful homemade cakes, accompanied by music from Michael Castle, Director of Music at Beaudesert Park School, Minchinhampton, with some of his pupils.
Our thanks go to all the stallholders who helped to make the day a success, and to everyone who donated their time and their cakes!
Ozleworth Park Estate (GL12 7QA) is owned by Mr and Mrs Stone and has been beautifully restored over a period of 16 years. The 12 acres of garden comprises vegetable plots, a rose garden, an orchard and woodland area. There are lily ponds and a small lake with a Victorian bathhouse and the church within the estate is open to the public
Please note that no dogs are allowed on the walk, or at the Open Garden event.
