Going online is a great way to connect with other families. This is a brief guide to each of the options to connect that we offer so that you can start chatting with others, and us, today.

What is Social Networking?

Social networking is about people and relationships. Wiith social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress (for blogging) becoming great ways for people to meet online and share their feelings, experiences, information and ideas. 

Why do it?

Having a sick child can make you feel alone and unprepared for the future, not knowing where to go or who to turn to.  With half of the UK population using Facebook, and around a third using Twitter, it is important to know that you are not alone - there is support out there.

  • instantly connect with other parents who understand the issues you are facing

  • stay in close contact when life can make it difficult to reach out
