Creed Lottery supports WellChild

Creed Foodservice welcomed WellChild to its Staverton head office on Thursday 4th May along with other Gloucestershire based charities, to be presented with donations after the successful launch of its ‘Creed Lottery’.

Chris Creed, CEO, Creed Foodservice, presented WellChild and fellow charities Sue Ryder, Wiggly Worm and CCP with cheques for £450 each at an official presentation which took place in Creed’s In-house Development Kitchen.

The Creed Lottery was launched in June 2016 as part of Creed Foodservice’s commitment to supporting local charities. In just seven months the Creed Lottery raised £2,700 for local charities.  Every month Creed employees have the opportunity to participate in a monthly lottery prize draw of £250. Remaining proceeds are equally split across Creed’s six nominated charities. Today 158 of Creed’s 330 strong workforce take part every month and over £2,500 has already been raised in 2017.

Colin Dyer, Chief Executive, WellChild said: “We would like to thank Creed Foodservice for their fantastic support of WellChild and the families we help across the UK. The Creed Lottery contribution will help to fund two days training for a family at our ‘Better at Home Suite’ to enable parents to care for their child at home. This is invaluable to the children and young people with serious illness and exceptional health needs across the UK.”
