WellChild families enjoy activities at this year’s Prince’s Charity Forum event

Posted on the 11th July 2017

WellChild Families were invited to attend this year’s Prince’s Charity Forum Event hosted by the South West of England Rescue Association. Held in the Forest of Dean, families took part in zip wiring, team challenges, rock climbing, fire and rescue speed boat rides with life saving demonstrations and much more. The families were also treated to a very special surprise trip on the Dean Forest Railway.

The day was a huge success with families commenting on how brilliant it was to spend time together, with everyone being able to get involved in the activities.

It was a lovely opportunity for families to take part in something a little different, have new experiences and to meet other families supported by WellChild.

Thank you all so much for a wonderful day! Everyone was so lovely, kind and enthusiastic. I haven't smiled like that in such a long time. Big wave to our new friends and much love to everyone, thank you!
