Mark Foster hosts annual Golf Day for WellChild

Posted on the 5th October 2017

A great time was had at the 2017 Mark Foster Golf day for WellChild, with the annual event having raised more than £100,000 over the last seven years. Guests enjoyed a brilliant day of golf while also supporting our work with seriously ill children and their families across the UK.

The event, held last week at The Shire London, was attended by WellChild supporters and partners, as well as a host of celebrities from the sporting and TV world including Kriss Akabusi, Richard Barrington, James Taylor, Schalk Brits and many more.

Car manufacturer Infiniti supported the golf day and provided the hole in one car, which unfortunately no one was successful in winning. Krowmark and Hawes & Curtis also supported WellChild at the event, providing golf t-shirts for guests on the day. WellChild is also very grateful to Creed Food Service for kindly providing refreshments for attendees to enjoy.

The day’s golf was followed by dinner and prize giving with a special performance by magician Jamie Raven. Top celebrity was James Taylor and the winning team was Sport Mobile with James Taylor. Other prizes from the day went to Jamie Hunwicks, Talbot for Nearest the Pin, Paul Richardson, WellChild, for Longest Drive and Peter Hallam, KGJ, for the Longest Putt Challenge.

A huge thank you goes to Mark Foster for his continued support of our work, as well as to all our sponsors and all who attended the golf day.

You can see a selection of pictures from the event here.
