New resources for parents launched as part of Medicine Safety Day

The Medicines for Children website provides practical and reliable advice about giving medications to your child. Produced by WellChild, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG), the site contains leaflets  and videos on a range of medicines.

Medicines for Children celebrated Medicine Safety day on 30th November by launching some exciting new information resources and web features.

The day also marked the launch of their new series of parent/carer information films about some of the many healthcare roles which you may come into contact with whilst navigating child health services.

The day was a great success with over 8,745 visits to the website that day and #MedicineSafety being widely used on social media. Please visit www.medicinesforchildren.org.uk for free access to accredited information on your child’ medicines.
