The Christmas Fair in the Cotswolds goes virtual

Posted on the 13th October 2020

The event will be 9th-11th November 2020

‘The Christmas Fair in the Cotswolds’ at Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, in support of WellChild, is an annual festive highlight, the top seat in our Christmas diary and the place to find those all-important gifts for our loved ones, with hundreds of independent stallholders travelling from far and wide to share their unique treasures. This year, with many of our usual calendar highlights having had to postpone, ‘The Christmas Fair in the Cotswolds’ was extremely keen not to fall foul of the same fate, so 2020 will see an all new, exciting format for this illustrious Fair. ‘The Christmas Fair in the Cotswolds’ is going virtual!

With everything from delicate jewellery to fabulous children’s clothes, men’s and women’s fashion, accessories, trinkets for your pooch pals and so much more, each year, the Fair has seen more and more money raised for its charitable partner, WellChild, which, during such a challenging time globally, could not be needed more.

This year, customers will be able to show their support for not only the all-important stallholders, but also Cheltenham’s most eminent children’s charity, WellChild, by purchasing their festive booty during three days of limited time deals with all 200 stallholders.

Customers will be able to access these exciting deals through the Fair’s website cotswoldfair.com which will lead to a dedicated area, adorned with over 200 limited time deals on beautiful Christmas gifts from each and every one of our beloved stallholders.

With each purchase made at the 2020 virtual Fair, 10% of sales will be donated to the local charity, which support seriously ill children and their families, with more than 100,000 children and young people living with serious or exceptional needs across the UK. Through WellChild’s COVID-19 Direct Response Service, online family information and support network, and its nationwide network of children’s nurses, WellChild exists to give this growing population of children and young people, both local and nationally based, the best possible chance to thrive through this crisis and beyond – properly supported at home, together with their families.

Lucy Greaves, the Fair’s Organiser expressed her opinion on the change in format. “It is so important to show our support for all those doing their bit to support both the physical and mental wellbeing of those suffering during this challenging time. With this winter’s guidelines still an unknown entity, we at the Fair want to put our best foot forward by showing our support for our specially chosen, and downright amazing stallholders, but also raise as much money as we can for WellChild. Our partnership with this commendable charity has been a long and successful one”, she continues, “One that we hope will continue and thrive, with the support of our customers. Let’s make this Christmas the best one yet!”
