How can you help?

As you can imagine cancelling all our 2020 events, collections, and essential projects for the foreseeable future has had a huge impact on WellChild’s income. As a charity totally reliant on voluntary fundraising support and with almost 60% of our income generated from fundraising events alone, we are working as hard as possible to continue to support children with serious health needs and their families at this critical time.

Whilst many of our activities are free to get involved with, anything you can donate or fundraise would be a huge help to WellChild at this uncertain time.

Whilst PPE is becoming more readily available now, many of our families are still struggling with the costs of supplies, especially as it is not uncommon for someone caring for a seriously ill child to go through at least one box of gloves, masks and aprons in a week, sometimes even within days!

£5 will buy 100 surgical gloves for a family and their carers who so desperately need them during the pandemic.

£10 is enough for a two-week supply of surgical gloves.

£30 could pay for a package of face masks for a family and their carers.
