A total of 131 WellChild runners tackled the 26 mile course and were cheered on by our enthusiastic team of volunteers before making their way back to the WellChild post-race reception.
Special shout outs go to Anthony Chapman who is ran his 10th consecutive London Marathon for WellChild – if that wasn’t impressive enough, this year he was dressed as our very own Nessa the Nurse! We also had a Guinness World Record attempt from Matt Harper-Ward who ran the course dressed as a snowboarder. Finally, Graham Hornigold, who is a long term supporter of WellChild and ran in memory of his brother.
Congratulations to all the 2016 WellChild team! Find out how to apply to run for us in 2017!
