WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. More than 100,000 children and young people are living across the UK with serious or exceptional health needs. Many spend months, even years in hospital simply because there is no support enabling them to leave. Meanwhile those who are at home face inconsistent and inadequate levels of support.

Through a nationwide network of children’s nurses, home and garden transformation projects and family support services, WellChild exists to give this growing population of children and young people the best possible chance to thrive – properly supported at home, together with their families.

The fundraising team is at the core of the charity and works together to maximise opportunities to raise funds from all sectors. Corporate fundraising has been the most profitable income stream for WellChild over the past few years and has the potential to be grown even further. With that in mind, we are looking to expanding our current fundraising team and would love to hear from creative and highly motivated Senior Corporate Fundraisers.

Reporting directly to the Head of Donations, you will be responsible for sourcing and creating new corporate relationships, as well as developing existing relationships with corporate funders, playing a hands-on role in sustaining and increasing income from this important fundraising source to achieve ambitious fundraising income targets.

Interested candidates will be able to show proven corporate fundraising experience at a senior level and the ability to build and sustain valuable relationships across a wide range of audiences. You will be able to effectively prioritise and work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail, organisation, communication and research skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude. A good understanding of budgets is essential and you will be a competent user of all Microsoft Office applications.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation or age.
