Theatre and Art Centre offers drama and art workshops tailored for children with disabilities, including wheelchair accessible sessions. Accessible shows also includes audio described, captioned and BSL supported performances and tours, live streamed shows, relaxed performances and touch tours for visually impaired visitors to get familiarised with the space, costumes and props before a show. Please note the Lowry does not have a car park - please use Quayside MediaCity for parking. It has 80 designated accessible parking bays available on every level of the car park.

Z-arts
An arts and theatre hub, where theatre shows take place and where there are plenty of dance, drama and arts and crafts activities to get stuck into. The theatre has 230 seats with shows for different ages each season. Weekly participatory classes in all art forms for children aged 0-13 years. Accessible seating and wheelchair spaces available which can be booked in advance. Relaxed showings and families are able to come in and out as they need. Large changing mats available in family bathrooms and lift access to all floors. Accessible toilet in Z-Cafe and access pack for food and drinks assistance if needed.

Disability Snowsport UK (Manchester)
Disability Snowsport UK provides access to snow sports for individuals with disabilities. We offer lessons and groups to provide skiing and snowboarding for everyone, regardless of disability, injury or experience. We are supported by a fantastic team of highly-qualified adaptive instructors as well as a brilliant network of passionate and skilled volunteers. Together, we work to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to access snowsport. DSUK have ski schools at various locations throughout the UK. Manchester is just one of these locations. Special Olympics Great Britain (Greater Manchester Club)
Special Olympics Great Britain (GB) is a non-profit organisation and largest provider of year-round sports training and athletic competition in summer and winter sports for children and adults of ALL abilities with intellectual disabilities. They offer year-round training and competitions in a variety of summer and winter sports for children and adults of all abilities. Special Olympics GB is open to anyone regardless of age or disability. They also have a Young Athletes Programme for those aged 2-7 years. Their focus is on the child or young person's abilities, providing them with opportunities to compete at local, national, and international levels over a wide range of different sports. Beyond sports, the organisation transforms lives by fostering social skills, confidence, physical fitness, and joy among more than 6,500 athletes. The Greater Manchester Special Olympics club offers Basketball, Athletics, Cricket, Multi-sport, and Cycling. The Greater Manchester club is just one of 95 Special Olympics GB inclusive sports programs across Scotland, England, and Wales. Kidz to Adultz Exhibitions
Kidz to Adultz deliver FREE exhibitions across the UK for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, their parents, carers and the professionals who support them. This event provides access to information, support, equipment, products and services with over 100+ exhibitors. Running alongside the exhibition there are 10 free CPD accredited seminars on a range of topics delivered by renowned experts in the field of disability and additional needs. Dimobi Children Disability Trust – Parents Forum
Dimobi Parents’ Forum is a growing peer-to-peer support network of parents and carers of children and young people with learning disabilities and special education needs. The forum runs meetings and workshops for parents to empower them to access the information and skills they need to better support their families. Carers represented in the Forum include parents, foster and adoptive parents, grandparents, adult siblings, aunts and uncles. The Forum is facilitated by parents with children with special and complex needs who openly share their lived and living experiences so that, others can learn from them. Dimobi Parents Forum offers a great chance to meet other parents and to get, and give, feedback on important issues.
