As a volunteer member of the panel for WellChild we ask you to agree and declare that:
• To process information and nominations as directed by the data controller, WellChild.
• To process information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.*
• I agree not to share any information about nominations outside of judging panels.
• I agree to keep the confidential information including sensitive medical information secure and not to disclose it to any third party
• I agree to delete information and nominations from my email/systems as soon as judging is complete.
• I agree to inform WellChild if there are any conflicts of interest with a nomination and the individual nominated/their nominator.
• I agree to only process the data of nominations by assessing for award eligibility.
• I understand that data cannot be forwarded to any other email accounts, printed or viewed by any other person without prior WellChild agreement.
• I agree to follow the guidance and instructions given by the WellChild members of staff, including any health and safety protocols as laid out.
• To treat everyone with respect and behave appropriately when supporting WellChild.
• To not discriminate any nomination based on any protected characteristics as defined in the Equality Act 2010.*
• To adhere to Article 6 of UK GDPR and Article 9 of the UK GDPR which class all health and care data as ‘special category’ and must be protected due to the sensitive and private nature of the information
• To follow WellChild guidance on safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the WellChild Safeguarding Policy & Procedure which can be found via the following link:
wellchild.org.uk/safeguarding . If I have a safeguarding concern I will let a member of WellChild staff know who will then deal with the concern.
