Little Harbour (Children’s Hospice South West)
We offer a home from home where babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families can take a short break away to re-charge their batteries in a homely, warm and welcoming environment. At Little Harbour as with all our hospices, families will discover individual children’s bedrooms, accommodation for parents and siblings, a wide range of play and therapy facilities – including a messy play area, soft play room, a hydrotherapy pool and a multi-sensory room – and a homely family kitchen and living room. For teenagers staying at Little Harbour they can make use of the IT and music facilities as well as use the games room as a place for chilling out, watching films and taking a few minutes to beat dad at pool. With accessible swings, picnic tables and pathways as well as plenty of ground for children to play, the garden at Little Harbour is always a popular place to be especially when the sun is shining.

Charlton Farm (Children’s Hospice South West)
We offer a home from home where babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families can take a short break away to re-charge their batteries in a homely, warm and welcoming environment. Charlton Farm has 8 child-friendly rooms and plenty of accommodation for parents and the rest of the family. We do all we can to make sure that babies, children and young people have some of their favourite toys, games and DVDs waiting for them when they arrive. Exploration uncovers playrooms, teenagers-only rooms, a spa bath for relieving stiff joints and muscle spasm, a sensory room for chilling out and a soft play area for safe, trouble-free fun. There is also a games room and a large open plan kitchen and dining room, which forms the heart of the house. There are also a few cosy places to relax and take a little time out.

Little Bridge House (Children’s Hospice South West)
We offer a home from home where babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families can take a short break away to re-charge their batteries in a homely, warm and welcoming environment. The house has plenty of facilities including a main living area that forms the heart and soul of the house, cosy lounges, a messy play room for carefree creativity, a multi-sensory room with lights, sounds and textures to soothe and calm, a soft play area for safe, trouble-free fun and a hydrotherapy pool for relieving stiff joints and muscle spasm. Teenagers also get their own special space where they can surf the net, play music and be themselves, while our games room is a place for chilling out and taking a few minutes to beat dad at pool. Outside, there is the Narnia sensory garden, which was based on C.S Lewis' magical book 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe'. The garden is full of features to stimulate all of the senses; sight, sound, smell and touch! The space is well loved by both children and parents as it provides a place to really set the imagination free!

Caswell Bay Beach
Caswell Bay Beach is wheelchair accessible. The car park has 12 disabled parking spaces. Two floating beach wheelchairs are available for hire, free of charge from Swansea Council. Prior booking is essential. Please contact [email protected] or call 01792 635718. The car park is equipped with a modular Changing Places unit adjacent to the existing toilet block. Please note you will require a combination code to access the unit. Please ring Swansea Mobility Hire on 01792 461785 (Mon-Sat) to request the code before you travel.

The Scottish Paraclimbing Club
The Scottish Paraclimbing club are here to support and encourage anyone who would like to climb and who has a disability. No matter if you have never climbed before or are a regular climber looking to meet like minded people we aim to facilitate and support your climbing. If you are a carer or parent of someone you think would like to try climbing then please get in touch and we can we can help. We meet up weekly on a Thursday night at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena. The arena is situated just outside of Edinburgh near Ratho village.

We deliver sessions from Pease Bay (the Borders), Belhaven Bay (East Lothian) and St Andrews West Sands (Fife). These are the closest surfing beaches to the central belt of Scotland, including: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee. From late October 2024, we will also be delivering sessions from The Lost Shore Surf Resort, an in-land wave pool in Ratho, Edinburgh.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
We support babies, children and young people whose lives are just too short, and all of our services are completely free for their families. We are here to take some of the stresses away when looking after for your child, and to provide you with the best care possible. We offer a whole range of services for children and their families. Our services include short breaks and day care in the hospice, as well as at home. Sibling support is also at the heart of our work, as well as counselling and bereavement support services for families. As we are currently reopening our care services we are not providing end of life care, but we're working hard to make sure we're able to do so as soon as possible

Magnolia House is a facility at Birmingham Children's Hospital for palliative care, bereavement care and support. Magnolia House is a calm and peaceful place where our specially trained staff meet with children, young people and families to have conversations around life-changing choices and decision making around palliative and end of life care. There are also opportunities at Magnolia House for children and families to access therapies through play, massage, counselling and other activities.
