The WellChild Family Tree is a community of families from across the UK, all of whom have children with complex medical needs. It enables parents to connect with others who 'get it' for mutual support, advice and friendship.
Make Friends, Make Memories and Make a Change
The WellChild Family Tree is free to join and connects families caring for children with serious health and complex medical needs across the UK through online and face to face groups.
By registering with the WellChild Family Tree community, you can benefit from:
- Join our Facebook Group: Monitored by WellChild, our closed group is a safe space to connect with and seek support from other parents and access information. The group gives you the opportunity to speak freely any time of the day or night, with others who just “get it.”
- Meet Up, Make Friends & Share Experiences: We have a wide range of events on offer throughout the year, whether it’s a trip to the zoo, a virtual craft club or virtual meet up just for parents and carers!
- Taking part in Family Activities: This includes everything from exciting competitions, designing merch for our events, to receiving free tickets to local events.
- Keeping You Updated: You will receive family focused mailings including our monthly Family Tree newsletters packed with lots of helpful information, events and activities. Along with our monthly Wellbeing mailings full of great ideas and inspiration of how to support your wellbeing and that of your families.
