Accessible Inclusive Music (AIM)
Accessible Inclusive Music is a charity, providing accessible and inclusive musical opportunities for children and young people up to the age of 25 in West Yorkshire and beyond. Opportunities will primarily be offered to children and young people who are disabled and have additional needs and their siblings. However, children and young people who don’t consider themselves disabled or to have additional needs are welcome to selected group activities to support the organisation’s values of inclusion. ‘Accessible and Inclusive’ in this organisation is defined as free and financially subsidised musical opportunities for the beneficiaries outlined above. High quality musical opportunities will be designed for maximum inclusivity using the Social Model of Disability. Weekly online inclusive choir: Takes place every Tuesday at 5pm. It is free to join and takes place online. For anyone in the UK under the age of 18.

Aerobility provides anyone, with any disability with access to the magic and wonder of flight. They offer the following activities: Introductory Flights: A once in a lifetime experience or the beginning of your journey into aviation – Introductory Flights are an ideal way to introduce yourself to the world of flying. Both standard and Aerobatic Flights are offered. Flying Days: They bring Aerobility to you with flying days for disability groups and communities around the UK. Based too far away from Aerobility? Don’t worry, their aircraft can operate on temporary detachment and fly into many airfields across the country. Simulator Sessions: Although you might not think it, staying on the ground can be just as much fun as taking to the air. The flight simulator can be used for training exercises, introductory sessions before taking to the real aircraft, or as a fun experience. Mobile Simulator Sessions: Themobile simulator is a great tool that makes aviation all the more accessible. Aerobility can bring it to your community group, school or event and give everyone the chance to have a go at flying without leaving the ground. And much more.

Birchden Wood – Forestry England
Discover this mixed native broadleaf woodland with peaceful walks. Explore Birchden Wood, south of Royal Tunbridge Wells, it's a perfect day out for families, walkers and climbers. Harrison's Rocks, a sandstone crag owned by the BMC, are right next door and Birchden makes the perfect spot to escape out of the city and into the woods. The 1.5km easy access trail guides you through the stunning beech woodland of Birchden. There are stops along the way to view sculptures that have been installed, giving you the opportunity to learn about the local history of the area. The path is surfaced and level with resting stops along the way. Suitable for buggies, wheelchairs and scooters. There is 1 accessible parking space available.

Haldon Forest Park – Forestry England
Whether you want a quiet dog walk under the shade of the trees or a challenging hilly hike with the kids, there is a walking trail for you. The whole family can join your summer adventure with the bookable mobility hire. Haldon Forest Park doesn't have designated quiet times but it is usually less busy on weekdays. If visiting at the weekend or on a bank holiday, the forest is usually less busy before 10:00am and after 4:00pm. Please be aware that Haldon parkrun takes place at 9:00am every Saturday. All walking trails can be accessed with all-terrain mobility scooter, which are available for hire. Accessibility features include: accessibility toilets; baby changing facilities; all-terrain mobility scooter hire; easy access trails; 5 accessible parking spaces.

Haughmond Hill – Forestry England
Explore Haughmond Hill and follow in the footsteps of history. Follow the trails out to the front of the hill for commanding views across the River Severn and Shrewsbury to the South Shropshire and Welsh hills beyond. Discover the Iron Age enclosure or visit the viewing platform over the quarry; a must for any budding geologists or anyone who likes dumper trucks! The Corbet easy access trail is a surfaced trail through mixed woodland with frequent benches. Visitors with wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies should find this walk suitable. It is marked by yellow waymarkers. This trail is also home to our family activity trail, which changes theme each year. Accessibility features include accessible toilets, easy access trails, and 6 accessible parking spaces.

Sherwood pines – Forestry England
Archer's Stroll at Sherwood Pines is a flat easy walk with children's play areas. It is an all weather surfaced trail, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. This walk takes in some of the oldest trees in the forest with seating and a picnic bench along the way and at the Dragonfly Pond. There are 7 accessible parking spaces available.

Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest is an award-winning visitor attraction with something for everyone. Open all year, Bedgebury is the perfect place for healthy outdoor activity. Bedgebury Forest has miles of trails for family cycling and mountain biking, walking, and running. Enjoy climbing, jumping, sliding and swinging your way around the play trail or explore the canopy on a Go Ape tree top adventure or tree top challenge. Bedgebury Cafe at the Visitor Centre has wonderful views of the pinetum and is set beside one of our many lakes. You may also find Gruffalo and friends hiding in Bedgebury Pinetum! Escape to Beechenhurst this summer and immerse your family in the heart of the majestic Forest of Dean, one of Britain's oldest and largest woodlands. If you're looking for unforgettable moments and outdoor fun, Beechenhurst is your perfect starting point for a day of exploration and shared smiles. Beechenhurst is often quieter on weekdays (outside of school holidays), earlier in the morning, and later in the afternoon. They now also have an all-terrain mobility scooter available to hire, to make it easier to get around the forest. There are 11 accessible parking spaces (charges may apply).

Enjoy a great family day out at one of the top kids days out in Sussex. Widely regarded as the best small zoo in the country Drusillas created an animal and child friendly environment where the focus is always on fun finding out. However, animals are only half the fun; Go Wild!, Get Wet!, Go Safari!, The Rainforest Adventure, SPARK, Amazon Adventure, Mungo's Adventure Maze and all our free children's rides are paradise for anyone wanting a theme park experience. They offer free entry for one carer accompanying a full paying visitor who can provide evidence of their disability. They have numerous dedicated disabled toilets located around the Park. They have a modern Changing Places Facility located behind our Amazon Adventure soft play area. Please ask staff in the Cafe for the key. The first session of each day SPARK is open is reserved for SEND visitors and their families.
