FTM Dance (Leicester)
FTM Dance is a performing arts respite service for young people and adults with learning difficulties, additional needs, neurodiverse abilities, and various complex medical conditions. They offer an array of music-based activities: dance, drama, singing, instruments as well as creative therapies, yoga, arts and crafts, sensory games and activities, messy play and so much more! They provide service users with fun inclusive sessions in a safe, secure environment with 1-1 or 2-1 support , helping families with much needed respite. Their support staff are highly skilled and trained in disability and medical related aspects such as moving and handling, enteral feeding, epilepsy, colostomy, personal care and managing challenging behaviours.

Fairlawn Residential Short Break Service is run by Kent County Council in partnership with Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. It offers a friendly and vibrant home from home for children and young people aged 5-18 who have disabilities. Facilities include; 7 bedrooms (some specifically adapted for physical disabilities), plenty of outdoor play areas with sandpit, swings and sensory garden, jacuzzi, soft play room, sensory room, TV lounge, friendly dinning room serving good food, and more.

Sunshine House offers short breaks for children and young people with long term conditions, life limiting conditions and/or complex health needs. They also offer end of life care if this is the child, young person and/or their family's preferred place for care.
