Hi I’m Eddy! I’m WellChild’s official horse racing bear. I have some fantastic free activities which you can get involved in during the run up to, and week of The Festival™, which takes place from 15th – 18th March this year. Simply click on each button below to download the activities, have fun!

With lots of free exciting activities, games, and competitions for all the family to enjoy. There’s hours of fun to be had including making Albert Alligator’s green gloop, building a tepee, creating musical instruments with Isaac the Iguana, a magic show with Captain Fantastic and a nature treasure hunt with a lovely princess plus lots more! You can sign up at any time and download activities, watch videos and play games whenever it suits you, all for free.

From colouring in WellChild’s equine ambassador – Smad Place to designing your own jockey silks, or baking some teddy bear cookies, be sure to tag @WellChild and show us your fabulous creations!

The Festival™ is also known for getting dressed up and we want to see your best party outfit! Whatever makes you feel confident and gets you in a party mood, simply snap a picture of yourself using #DressUpForWellChild – we can’t wait to see your outfits!

Design Eddy the Teddy’s Jockey Silks

One of Eddy’s favourite parts of horse racing is seeing all the bright colours that the jockey wears. Have a go at designing your own silks for me below, have a look at our example for inspiration. Racing Green Playdough

Learn how to make simple playdough which you can play with again and again. Mould into any horse racing themed shape you like! You could make a Gold Cup, a jockey or even a horse! You may need to ask a grown up to help you.

Every bear loves a picnic, and these yummy cookies are the perfect addition to your teddy bear’s picnic! You can get creative and even make them look like a teddy bear by shaping the ears and using chocolate chips as eyes and a cute little nose.
