Emergency Support for Parent Carers

Caring for a child with complex medical needs can be overwhelming, especially when unexpected financial pressures arise. If you are struggling to afford food or keep your home warm, we are here to help.

What Support We Offer:

WellChild partners with the Trussell Trust and the Food Bank Foundation to offer this support.

If you are unable to get the food you need, we can provide foodbank vouchers from the Trussell Trust. These vouchers can be used at your local foodbank to access essential groceries for you and your family.

If you are on a pre-payment meter for your gas or electric and are about to run out of credit or have already run out and cannot top up, working with the Fuel Bank Foundation, we could offer you vouchers to top up and provide you with enough credit to last an average of 10 days. Helping to keep your home warm and safe.
