Annual Christmas Cotswold Fair celebrates over £1 million raised for WellChild

By Charlotte Edwards · October 3, 2022

For over 30 years, The Christmas Cotswold Fair has supported WellChild, the national charity for seriously ill children. Throughout this time the fair has raised over £1million and in 2021 alone over £100,000 – the most the fair has ever raised in one year. This amazing amount of money has helped to fund WellChild’s valuable work in enabling seriously ill children to leave hospital and thrive properly supported at home.

Lucy Greaves, The Christmas Cotswold Fair organiser

The Christmas Cotswold Fair is the longest event partnership that WellChild has to date, and we could not be more grateful to Lucy Greaves at Bazaar Events who founded the event and continues to organise the fair year on year. Lucy always makes sure that WellChild is included and supported through a number of ways including ticket sales, a percentage of stallholder takings, and fundraising at the event itself.

WellChild CEO Matt James said “It has been amazing to see just how far the fair has come and we are so proud and thankful to still be a part of The Christmas Cotswold Fair as it continues to grow year on year.

"A heartfelt thank you to Lucy, her committee, Daylesford Organic for supporting the event, all of our volunteers, and of course the fabulous shoppers both returning customers and new who help to make this event such a special one".
