Rose Road Association – Community Outreach
The Outreach Service provides individually tailored support and appropriate activities for children or young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities, and autism. Activities are led by the interests of the young person and involve activities and visits to places in the community as well as domiciliary (at home) care. They provide: One-to-one quality time with young people at home or in the community. Support for young people to attend youth clubs, groups or play schemes. Help for young adults to experience activities such as the cinema, bowling, shopping trips or a night out with friends. Support for young people to attend appointments. Provision of a few hours respite so parents/carers can spend time on their own or with siblings. Provision of personal care. A coordinator will come and visit you to discuss the service and agree a care plan that will be personal to you and outline how we can meet your individual needs.

Challengers Basingstoke
Challengers Play schemes are places where disabled and non-disabled children aged 4 to 12 can come together to play, have fun and make new friends in a safe space. Play schemes run at weekends during term-time, and weekdays during half-terms, Easter, and the Summer Holidays. Each Play scheme has a variety of areas set up for different types of play. These include areas for art and creative activities, larger open spaces for noisy and active play, outside space for accessible bikes and trikes, a sand and water play area, and a quiet sensory space.
