Cheltenham Festival Racing Tips at Ed Chamberlin’s Preview Night
Last night saw over 200 racing fans gather for Ed Chamberlin’s Festival Focus Preview event at Cheltenham Ladies’ College. This extra special Cheltenham Festival preview night and fundraiser for WellChild was kindly supported by Sportech.
The evening included top racing panelists sharing their experiences and tips ahead of the Cheltenham Festival and raised almost £17,000 for our work with seriously ill children.
The Festival Focus panel was made up of former Racing Post Editor Bruce Millington, trainers Kim Bailey and Richard Phillips, along with jockey Aidan Coleman. They shared their experiences and stories along with opinions and tips for the week ahead. The evening also included a chance to win on the WellChild Charity Race and a game of Heads or Tails, to win the fantastic prize of a morning on the gallops for four with Kim Bailey.

- Richard Phillips suggested a punt on Lost in Translation.
- Aidan Coleman favoured Presenting Percy.
- Bruce Millington suggested an each way bet on Bristol De May, but thinks that Santini will win.
Fundraising success
The event helped raise almost £17,000 for WellChild which will go a long way to support our work with seriously ill children, young people and their families.
