Bunting and flags decorated the houses and friends and neighbours partied the afternoon away in celebration of the Jubilee. Delicious food and drink were in abundance including afternoon tea, Jubilee trifle, scones and Victoria sponges!

Uniquely designed mugs were presented to all the children living in Tivoli Street. These lovely souvenirs were designed by local artist Madeleine Cox and kindly donated by St Stephens Social Club, who also supported the organisation of the event. A number of adults chose to purchase the mugs too, with all the profits going to charity.

Some fantastic prizes were up for grabs in a successful raffle, thanks to the generosity of local traders and residents.

Between the raffle and the mug sales, the event raised over £1,700, which was shared equally between three local charities; Sue Ryder Hospice, Cheltenham Animal Shelter and WellChild – as well as DEC Ukraine.

The event was a huge success and the residents look forward to planning the next one. WellChild would like to thank Sheena and everyone involved in making this incredible fundraising event happen.
