Through a display of generosity and sportsmanship, the 10th Annual Ed Chamberlin Golf Classic soared to new heights, raising over an astounding £500,000 since the event began in 2014 in support of WellChild. The milestone anniversary was marked with heartfelt gratitude towards all who contributed to the success of the event.

Ambassador Ed Chamberlin and a host of supporters, including sponsors Sky Bet, in association with West Way and supported by REFLO, Brook Taverner, Ultima, Whispering Angel & Dullingham Park joined forces for this remarkable achievement at The Belfry. Guests goodie bags also contained items generously donated by Inkerman London, Creed Foodservice and a special copy of the Racing Post. The day simply couldn’t go ahead without them. We are also very grateful for the support of all our celebrity guests who turned up to make the event extra special too.

During the event Ed Chamberlin interviewed Jill about family life with her son, Noah who has been supported by a WellChild Nurse.

Jill commented “WellChild actually get children, like my Noah, home from hospital and able to be at home, thrive, learn, develop and just have a really tremendous life.”

WellChild Chief Executive Matt James said: “We simply cannot thank you all enough for helping to provide desperately needed support for WellChild children, young people and families. The money you have raised today, and over the last 10 years is vital in enabling us to support families like Noah’s and Jill’s across the UK. Whether that be through receiving support from a WellChild Nurse who enables them to have the proper care and support at home instead of hospital, or through a Helping Hands garden transformation providing a much needed safe and accessible space. These are just some of the ways the money you have helped raise can ensure our children and young people thrive at home.”
