A theatre group for young people aged 16-21 with additional needs and disabilities. Youth Theatre Squared is specifically for disabled or neurodivergent young people aged 16-25 who want to explore theatre making and develop their creativity. Sessions enable participants to explore the world around them, build their confidence and develop their theatre making skills all through fun and creatively engaging activity in a supportive environment. The group is led by professional theatre practitioners with experience in making inclusive theatre.

Northumberland Zoo
Northumberland Zoo is a great place to visit on a day out! With over 80 species of animals, indoor & outdoor play areas, cafe, picnic areas and tractors, there is plenty for you to explore. Disabled toilet and baby-changing facilities available, at present there are no hoist facilities available. The majority of the paths around the zoo can be accessed by a wheelchair. Please note some areas of the zoo may be difficult for some wheelchairs to manoevre and the 'River Walk' is not accessible by wheelchair. Social story and sensory bags are available with noise cancelling headphones, weighted lap pads, fidget tools and verbal cue cards. Quiet days run throughout the year.

Coronation Recreation Grounds
A playground providing a great play area for children of all abilities. It features lots of adapted swings, a flat ground level trampoline with no climbing required, and a sensory music ball. Additionally, there is an accessible sand pit. Parking is available at the West Street car park across the road, which includes disabled bays. For restroom facilities, a large changing place toilet is located a 5-minute walk away at the Town Hall.

Bristol Blades Fencing Club – Central
At Bristol Blades Central, we cater for all abilities, from running beginners courses to senior GB squad member sparring. We invite fencers from Bristol University Fencing Club and UWE Fencing Club. Our senior session is aimed at those who have experience in fencing and are looking to improve for success at competition. Bristol Blades Central is the initial and main club night. Based in the centre of Bristol, we cater for all those within the city. The club runs out of Bristol Grammar Schools Sports Centre on a Tuesday Evening. Here all Bristol Blades coaches come together to run the junior club followed by the senior club, hosting fencers from all over Bristol and beyond, from Bath, Swindon, Glastonbury and Wales.

Coquet Shorebase Trust
RYA Sailability Centre and British Canoeing Paddle-ability Centre, providing watersports activities for people with disabilities for over 30 years. Suitable for ages 8 and above. Most activities take place at Druridge Bay Country Park but some activities are at Coquet Estuary at Amble. Wheelchair accessible changing facilities are available at both venues. Access to the water at the Country Park includes a jetty with a hoist. Accessible dinghies which can be used by people with severe mobility problems which can not capsize and include canvas 'deckchair' and joystick steering. Solo and 2 person dinghies which enable an instructor or carer to accompany. Please contact provider for more information on specific needs and activities on offer.

Whitehouse Farm Centre
Whitehouse Farm Centre make great efforts to help people of all ages, abilities and walks of life to develop feelings of confidence, well-being and inclusion in the activities and animal experiences on offer. As well as having numerous disabled toilets on site, there is also a changing places toilet. A range of accessible activities around the farm include wheelchair accessible tractor rides, wheelchair accessible roundabout, animal pens designed to ensure all visitors can see and feed the animals. Cafe is also wheelchair accessible and on level ground. Staff are trained in autism awareness and sensory audit can be found on the website. Sensory bags are available to hire from the shop. Relaxed Sunday morning sessions available for autistic people and those with sensory needs.
