Family Tree Halloween Event at Westonbirt Arboretum
Join us for a spooktacular family day at Westonbirt Arboretum! Come along for pumpkin decorating, entertainment, refreshments and autumn adventures with the WellChild Family Tree community.
The event will run from 10am to 2:30pm in the beautiful Great Oak Hall at the Arboretum. You are welcome to arrive and leave at any time that suits your family just reserve your tickets using the form below.

Terms & Conditions
By requesting tickets for WellChild’s Family Day Out at Westonbirt Arboretum, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. The organisers are WellChild, Sunningend Business Centre, 22 Lansdown Industrial Estate, Cheltenham, GL51 8PR.
2. This offer is open to any families who are members of WellChild Family Tree, as well as families who have been supported by a WellChild Nurse or through the WellChild Helping Hands Programme.
3. Tickets are limited and will be issued on the following basis: first come first served basis with local families being prioritised, people who haven’t attended before, and any remaining tickets will be allocated to make the best use of the tickets available (with regards to numbers). Each family can request tickets for the child’s parents/carers, the child with the condition, and their siblings only. Ticket registration may close early if all tickets have been allocated.
4. If people requesting tickets don’t meet the criteria laid out in point 3, names will be selected using a random number generator.
5. Tickets are not guaranteed until you receive confirmation from WellChild.
6. The WellChild Family Tree Halloween Event at Westonbirt Arboretum is on Saturday, 31st October 2026, tickets issued will be for this day only.
7. Tickets will include a snack pack which will be given out on the day. However, these are only snacks, and we advise you to bring a full picnic or bring money to purchase food from the café. Please notify WellChild of any dietary requirements and allergies when requesting tickets.
8. Tickets cannot be redeemed for their monetary value.
9. All participants attend the event entirely at their own risk and the organisers shall not be liable for any injury or loss that participants suffer as a result of taking part in the event, except where an injury or loss results from the negligence or omissions of the organisers.
10. Families are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Westonbirt Arboretum.
11. Itineraries, schedules and other arrangement changes may occur which are beyond the control of WellChild.
12. The event organisers (WellChild) may, at their sole discretion, withdraw places on the event if it is believed to be in their best interest to do so. The event organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the event should it be deemed necessary for any reasons outside of their control, for example inclement weather or windy conditions that are too risky to allow the activity to take place.
13. All personal information supplied when requesting your tickets will be held securely in accordance with our privacy policy, which you can read here. Please note that your details will be shared with staff at Westonbirt Arboretum so your tickets can be booked, suitable craft activity provisions and any accessibility needs can be met.
14. By submitting a request for tickets, you agree to the terms and conditions above and the following disclaimer: “I declare I will abide by the age limits and accessibility requirements and restrictions set for the event and will abide by all rules and instructions. I declare that I and my child(ren) attend Family Day Out at Westonbirt Arboretum at our own risk. I accept that the organisers, sponsors, partners, and volunteers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of my participation in the event, unless caused by their negligence or omission.”
15. Tickets will be sent to you by email, which you will need to show at the check-in desk on arrival. You will be allocated the tickets you requested; please do not bring extra guests with you on the day. Please contact the WellChild event organiser if you are unable to attend the event. If your personal details (address, contact number, etc.) change after you have submitted your registration form, you must notify us immediately. All information provided will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
