Tea and Talk

A virtual event just for our Family Tree members, giving parent carers a chance to meet and chat with others who understand. Some sessions have a theme or activity to join in with as you talk, while others are open for relaxed conversation with parents and members of the WellChild Families Team. If you’d rather just listen in, that’s absolutely fine too!

This year, Carers Week is all about ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’ -celebrating the difference that supportive, understanding communities can make to the lives of carers everywhere.

At WellChild, we feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive WellChild Family Tree community, where people lift each other up when things get tough and offer guidance, support, and friendship. We want to celebrate this!

On Thursday 11th June at 10:00am, we’re hosting a mindfulness Tea & Talk session on Zoom to bring our parent carer community together – a chance to connect, unwind, and do something just for you.

Whether you’d like to chat and share your experiences, ask questions, or simply enjoy some quiet mindful colouring, you are very welcome.

Everyone who registers will receive a free wellbeing kit, including:

✔ A mindful colouring book and pencils

✔ Your choice of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate

✔ Some tasty biscuits

We look forward to seeing you there.
