WellChild Chief Executive Matt James said: “Thank you so much to all the brilliant staff at Toad Hall Nursery for their hard work to raise money for WellChild. For many of the children, young people and families we support, just getting through the day is a huge challenge. On their behalf I thank all the team at Toad Hall Nursery for all the hard work they are putting in throughout the year. It is a tough time for all charities and currently the situation for families is particularly tough. They have come out of a desperate situation during the COVID pandemic and into the crippling cost-of-living crisis. We are working hard to find new ways to get families the support they need. Most recently, we have been sourcing grants to help families most acutely in need of financial help with such necessities as food and energy bills.”
