Westonbirt, The National Arboretum – Ticket Giveaway

WellChild are working in partnership with Westonbirt, The National Arboretum Forestry England to offer our WellChild families tickets for day admission to their magical woodland arboretum. If you would like to request tickets to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, please complete the following registration form.

Westonbirt Arboretum is one of the most beautiful and important plant collections in the world. With 15,000 specimens, and 2,500 species of tree from all over the globe, the arboretum plays a vital part in research and conservation, as well as being a stunningly beautiful place to visit. Westonbirt is the perfect place for you to escape, relax or have an adventure! Take a journey up into the canopy on the STIHL Tree Top Walkway, stop by the café for a tasty treat or see if you can spot the Gruffalo!

Tickets are for day admission to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum only and do not include admission to events such as ‘Christmas at Westonbirt’. All tickets provided via this giveaway can be used up until the 31st March 2025. Tickets are limited to immediate family and essential carers only. If your request for tickets is successful you will receive a confirmation email from a member of the WellChild team. Once your tickets are confirmed we recommend calling Westonbirt, The National Arboretum prior to your visit to check opening times and availability.

Terms & Conditions

By requesting tickets to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The organisers are Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, Forestry England, Tetbury, Glos. GL8 8QS Tel: 0300 067 4891. WellChild have been gifted tickets to the Arboretum to give to WellChild Families.
  2. This offer is open to any families who are members of The WellChild Family Tree. If you are not a member but would like to request tickets, please first register to join the WellChild Family Tree here: https://www.wellchild.org.uk/get-support/join-our-community/
  3. Tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. There are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets are restricted to WellChild Families and their immediate family only (including any carers who need to attend to carry out caring duties for your child/children). Tickets can be requested for one day’s admission only.
  4. Tickets are not guaranteed until you receive confirmation from WellChild.
  5. Tickets must be requested for all persons in your party aged 5 years upwards, excluding carers. Children aged 4 years and under do not need a ticket.
  6. Tickets are for day admission only and provided by Forestry England. Tickets are valid until 31st March 2025 and do not include entrance to events at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
  7. During Autumn, Westonbirt Arboretum advise booking in advance by contacting the Arboretum direct via Tel: 0300 068 0400.
  8. Tickets cannot be redeemed for their monetary value.
  9. All participants attend the Arboretum entirely at their own risk and the organisers shall not be liable for any injury or loss that participants suffer as a result of attending the Arboretum, except where an injury or loss results from the negligence or omissions of the organisers.
  10. Itineraries, schedule and other arrangement changes may occur, which are beyond the control of WellChild.
  11. The organisers (Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, Forestry England, Tetbury, Glos. GL8 8QS ) may, at its sole discretion, withdraw tickets for the Arboretum if it is believed to be in its own best interest to do so. The organisers reserve the right to amend/cancel tickets should it be deemed necessary for any reasons outside of its control, for example inclement weather or windy conditions that are too risky to allow attendance to take place.
  12. All personal information supplied when requesting your tickets will be held securely in accordance with our privacy policy which you can read Please note your details will be shared with the event organisers so your tickets can be booked.
  13. By submitting a request for tickets, you agree to the terms and conditions above and the following disclaimer ‘I declare I will abide by the age limits and accessibility requirements and restrictions set for the tickets and will abide by all rules and instructions. I declare that I and my child(ren) attend the Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, Forestry England, Tetbury, Glos GL8 8QS at our own risk. I accept that the organisers, sponsors, partners, volunteers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of my participation of the event, unless caused by their negligence or omission.

Tickets will be emailed out to you before the event; if your personal details (address, contact number etc.) change after you have submitted your registration form to take part, you must notify us immediately. All information provided will be processed in accordance with The UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
