First Hand – Time 4 Mum
Encourages women to recognise they are a whole lot more than “only a mum” – and helps them to reconnect with themselves, to recognise their strengths and skills and take time out to do something for themselves on a regular basis. This service is for Mums living in Edinburgh, who are isolated and already have child care in place. They will be supported and encouraged to explore opportunities and activities, initially with the worker, and as Mum feels confident and able to attend on her own the worker will withdraw.
