PALS is a weekly Saturday and Holiday play scheme for children aged 6 to 12, based at The Ashenground Community Centre in Haywards Heath. PALS runs throughout the year offering in-house activities and trips out. All activities are tailored to the children’s needs. Activities include themed days at base, such as space, transport or sensory play, and trips out to a wide range of venues including farms, sensory rooms, theme parks and inclusive playgrounds.

Kangaroos – STARS
Support, Time, Activities, Respect, Sensory (STARS) – is a weekend and holiday club for children and young people aged 6+ with complex medical needs and limited mobility, including epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, visual and hearing impairments, gastrostomy feeds, catheterisation and complex feeding needs. STARS runs throughout the year from the Ashenground Centre in Haywards Heath where they provide sensory equipment, switch adapted toys, musical instruments, cooking equipment, specialist seating, and a range of computers and iPads with tailored software and hardware. Trips out include fully accessible outward bounds days, from rock climbing, adapted skiing, wheelchair ice skating and dancing, to wheelchair friendly speed boats and visits to accessible playgrounds, as well as overnight residentials.

Rose Road Association – accessible train travel
Rose Road have teamed up with South Western Railway to deliver the 'All Aboard' project, making rail travel more accessible for profoundly disabled people and their families. They are looking for disabled teenagers and young adults across Hampshire to help evaluate the travel guide tool and provide feedback on their experiences travelling by rail / train. As part of the project Red Rose will: Pay for the return rail journey for the young person plus one parent/carer Arrange all bookings and tickets Provide you with a print out of our travel guide All they ask in return is for feedback about your journey by completing a journey evaluation pack.

Rose Road Association – activities and play schemes
Playschemes run throughout the year during school holidays and on Saturdays with a wide range of free flow play, structured activities and trips. All schemes provide a wide range of high quality, inclusive activities such a role play, cooking, crafts, messy/sensory play, trips out, swimming and more, that children and young people can participate in meaningfully with friends. Sessions can be adapted to suit each individual child or young person's needs as much as possible, and all the schemes include quiet areas for children and young people to take time out and relax if needed. Bradbury School Holiday Scheme Bradbury Holiday Scheme runs 10am - 3pm during school holidays at The Bradbury Centre for children aged 6-14 years and 14-19 years. Bradbury Saturday Club Bradbury Saturday Club runs 10am to 3pm during term time only at The Bradbury Centre Age: 8-19yrs. Rose Road Association – Community Outreach
The Outreach Service provides individually tailored support and appropriate activities for children or young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities, and autism. Activities are led by the interests of the young person and involve activities and visits to places in the community as well as domiciliary (at home) care. They provide: One-to-one quality time with young people at home or in the community. Support for young people to attend youth clubs, groups or play schemes. Help for young adults to experience activities such as the cinema, bowling, shopping trips or a night out with friends. Support for young people to attend appointments. Provision of a few hours respite so parents/carers can spend time on their own or with siblings. Provision of personal care. A coordinator will come and visit you to discuss the service and agree a care plan that will be personal to you and outline how we can meet your individual needs.

Marches Family Network – Young Explorers
Young Explorers support children and young people (3-25 years) to access activities and events in their local communities and further afield, helping to increase confidence, independence, and social skills. Trips provide opportunities to access new experiences, try new things, build on interests, and make friends. Pick up and drop off points will be in either Hereford or Leominster. Marches Family Network – Play+
Marches provide specialist short breaks sessions for children and young people (3 – 25 years) with complex disabilities who require high levels of support through their Play+ Project. Their youth team receive specific training, including epilepsy management, team teach and gastrostomy (tube-feeding) training, to meet the individual needs of the children and they run a varied programme of activities to build on confidence and inclusion.
