Why choose Helping Hands for your team?
The Process

Planning WellChild will match your company to a family’s project in the UK on a mutually agreed date. Over 2 days, up to 25 of your employees will undertake a garden transformation at the family’s home led by a dedicated, experienced project manager.

Team Building The team will work together to transform the space under the guidance of our skilled Helping Hands Project Managers. Your employees will learn new skills, collaborate, have fun, and make a huge difference to a family in your area who really need it.

The Reveal After the project, you will see the family’s reaction to their new garden. Your hard work will improve the quality of life for the child and their family and will have a truly transformational impact. Don’t worry - We’ll make sure this wonderful moment is captured.

Follow Up Following the project, we’ll make sure you’re equipped with a vast range of video, pictures, quotes, and great stories to tell! These are valuable tools and assets for staff engagement, marketing, and demonstrating your company’s impact.
Company Benefits
INSPIRE EMPLOYEES
Unlike the average team-building day out, Helping Hands projects create an experience that empowers employees with new skills and inspires them to work collaboratively with colleagues. We often hear how teams go back to their workplace feeling invigorated and motivated to work together more closely.
ENGAGE & CONNECT
By enabling employees to meet outside of their normal work environment and removing the hierarchy of their organisation, Helping Hands projects create a space for colleagues to connect on a level playing field. A simple common goal with real world impact facilitates genuine comradery and collaboration.
A NEW CHALLENGE
Whether it’s using a power tool that you’ve never seen before or relaying wheelbarrows through a site, this kind of hands-on work gets the endorphins flowing and takes your team out of their usual headspace. It’s in these moments that a dynamic shift often occurs and colleagues become friends, all whilst making a life changing difference to a family near you.
CSR & SUSTAINABILITY
Not only do Helping Hands projects provide perfect CSR opportunities for organisations and brands of all scales, they also enable your business hit many of the mandatory UN Sustainability Goals. There’s more information on that later.
COMMS ASSETS & PR GENERATION
It’s important to share your successes and allow your team to show-off the amazing difference they have made. With a suite of top-grade digital assets, we will make sure you have all you need to maximise the PR value of your involvement via your internal comms as well as your social media platforms and local press outlets.

“Participating in the WellChild Helping Hands project not only strengthened our team bonds through meaningful collaboration but also brought immense joy and a profound feel-good factor as we collectively made a positive impact on the lives of the children we had the privilege to support.”

Jim Nelson

“The Helping Hands Project that we took part in was intended to help a Family in need of support, and the team were more than happy to provide this. What we did not account for was the impact the two days would have on us. Whilst the finished Project was for the Family, there is truly a lasting legacy for the Team, and seeing the family’s reaction to the finished Project made all the effort worthwhile. I will definitely be looking to do another Project in the near future.”

"As well as supporting a great cause, the garden transformation projects we’ve undertaken over the past two years have presented an excellent opportunity for our cross functional teams to bond and forge closer working relationships. It’s been a real win-win for everyone involved and I look forward to being able to support the charity and their work for many years to come.”
