New videos developed by Oxford Simulation Training and Research (OxSTaR) help to give parents confidence in caring for a child with a gastrostomy at home. The resources were created after consultation with parents and carers from the WellChild Family Tree.

There are 21 short videos that cover a range of gastrostomy topics, including why some children need one, how to guides, tips from experienced parents, and  help with gastrostomy care. Other topics addressed include advice about different devices, troubleshooting, and an introduction to blended diets.

These videos are designed for parents, but may also be helpful for family members and staff training. You can watch the videos using the YouTube playlist below, or on the OxSTaR website.
