Aberdeen Park Nursery is for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
The nursery has a lovely baby room with its own outdoor space; one large, light and airy room for 2 to 3-year olds to play and learn with lots of cosy spaces, and a third room that they use for small group activities and learning experiences; an exciting garden for outdoor learning and a great family atmosphere.
They aim to meet children's social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs in a safe, friendly environment. They value parents and carers input and make every endeavour to work in partnership with them. Children learn through play and by exploring and developing their individual interests.
The setting welcomes children with SEND and they are committed to working with parents and other professionals to provide good inclusive practice. The Islington link Area SENCO provides support, advice and training re children with SEND.
One staff member has attended PECS; Sensory Circuits training; Speech and Language development training. One staff member has gained a Level 3 SENCO certificate and a second staff member is currently studying it.
They have experience in working with a range of SEN needs, e.g. autistic spectrum condition, complex syndromes/disorders etc.
Short term plans are in place and children’s needs are met by planning focus learning experiences that support children’s learning and development.
Fees are on a sliding scale depending on household income and age of child.

Thursday - Friday 8am - 6pm
