BLGC offer a range of services that focus on a range of needs including emotional health and wellbeing, mental health, building self-confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
BLGC's experienced, trusted team of practitioners work with children, young people and families to ensure that they give the right support at the right time wherever possible. Support for young carers include advice and signposting for a young carer, their family or other professionals by phone or email. No referral needed.
They also offer advocacy for young carers who feel their voice is not being heard. There is a weekly young carers ‘drop in’ at their base. These are group sessions for young carers to chill out and meet other young carers, 1-1 support with action plans for young carers who need extra support and family support for those who are struggling.
