Carlisle Youth Zone is a purpose-built youth facility, complete with a gym, music room, library, climbing wall, sports hall, café, arts area, dance space, gaming and recreation zones, with a team dedicated of youth workers, volunteers, and mentors who create a fun and safe environment. All sessions are suitable for children and young people however there is an additional quieter, more relaxed session on Saturday mornings 10am - 12pm for disabled and neurodivergent young people.
Young people aged 7 to 25 can attend the Inclusion session alongside parents or carers, have fun and enjoy free hot food.
The building is wheelchair accessible, has a disabled toilet, sensory room, hearing loops in various rooms and staff trained to support young people with visual impairments.
