HideOut Youth Zone is a charity for Manchester’s young people, set up to give them the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose. Young people from a diverse range of backgrounds can access the facilities in a vibrant, purpose-built space packed with engaging activities, the opportunity to make friends, develop new skills, unlock their potential and have fun.
Activities include art and music, cooking, wellbeing, climbing, yoga, sports, gym and MMA. HideOut also has a sensory room, recording studio and podcasting suite. HideOut Youth Zone provides children and young people with somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to.
All children and young people are welcome at HideOut Youth Zone, regardless of their needs and requirements. Sessions are adapted for young people with additional needs and are open for a wide range of young people to access; including those with mild learning difficulties, through to those with more complex needs such as visual impairment and physical disabilities.
The building itself is accessible to all, including a lift, wheelchair access doorways, sensory room, moveable sinks and hobs in the training kitchen, and even an accessible climbing wall.
Sunday Club is a time just for our young people that identify as having a disability or additional needs.
