Get up close to incredible engineering feats in the World's first railway town. Cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks and museum shop. Museum admission is free. There's no need to pre-book an admission ticket, except for selected events and activities. Sensory packs and ear defenders are available to borrow from the welcome desk. Visual Story to help visitors with additional needs to plan their day available. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible. However parts of the site are open air and visitors will need to use outdoor footpaths.
