Moor Time – The Short Breaks Charity (Stay and Plays)
- Hospice, Respite and Childcare
- Things to do
- In-person service
Moor Time's stay and plays take place in the school holidays. They welcome reception-aged and younger children with additional needs, and limited numbers of non-disabled siblings.
The stay and plays are an opportunity for little ones with additional needs to enjoy accessible and sensory play activities with our staff and volunteers, while their family carers have a cuppa and a chat.
The stay and plays take place at Dan's Den at Christchurch, an accessible soft play with a cafe and sensory room in Ilkley. There is a public car park nearby, disabled facilities on site and wheelchair access to the building.
Alongside all the fun Dan's Den offers, our regular activities include sensory stories, song times, crafts, yoga and relaxation.
The sessions cost £5 per family. Please contact us if this is prohibitively expensive. A booking is required.
