Pensthorpe is the ultimate destination for discovery and an action-packed day out for the whole family. You can explore magical gardens, take a trail through our internationally recognised reserve, get up close with feathered friends, enjoy huge indoor play, and one of the regions biggest and best outdoor adventure areas!
Wheelchair users can explore all five of the stunning gardens, as well as the popular Wetland Hide, offering the opportunity to see and abundance of diverse bird, plant and wildlife species along the way. Be sure to pick up a park guide, where you will find a map detailing the wheelchair friendly route.
There are five accessible toilets on site, all labelled on our map with clear signage. All have an optional raised toilet seat, moveable hand rails as well as an alarm system. There is also baby changing facilities in the main toilet block, the cafe and play areas.
Carers go free if they are accompanying a disabled visitor. You must bring appropriate documentation.
