At Play Away Ltd, the therapeutic power of play is used to nurture mental health. The child-centred, non-directive approach creates a safe, supportive and imaginative space for growth and healing.
Play Therapy or Creative Arts Therapy can help with trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, self-esteem/ self image, confidence, and emotional regulation. It offers the following support:
Play Therapy & Creative Arts Therapy
- Individual sessions for children and young people
- Helps with trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, self-esteem, confidence, and emotional regulation
- Weekly 45-minute sessions in a dedicated playroom
Parent Support
- Advice and consultations to help you understand and support your child
- Group training through Child and Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) to learn therapeutic play techniques
Professional Support
- Consultations and training for schools, social workers, and other professionals
- Attendance at multi-agency meetings
- Guidance on SEND systems, EHCPs, and tribunals
