A wide range of opportunities for social interaction and development for children and young people with a disability aged 8 to 19 who live in the Harlow area. Planned activity programmes are put together by the children and young people themselves with input from staff and volunteers.
Programmes include:
Cooking and healthy eating projects
Art and craft
Gardening
Physical and sporting activities
Music workshops
Positive citizenship activities
Sam's Place staff are also sometimes able to take children and young people out on short trips to participate in social activities away from the school.
Children and young people are able to attend on a fortnightly basis during school term time. Children aged 8 to 11 attend the morning session and young people aged 12 to 19 attend the afternoon session. Please contact directly to discuss accessibility needs.
