Explore 250 years of innovations and ideas that started life in Manchester and went on to change the world. Highlights include hands on science fun, ultimate gaming experience and early years activities.
There is step-free access to all floors and wheelchair accessible lifts which have tactile labelling and some have audio announcements. There is a Quiet Room within the Textiles Gallery on Level 0 of the New Warehouse for use by anyone who needs some quiet time. Visual Stories, ear defenders and sensory toy packs are available.
Accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, all gender facilities and Changing Places toilet equipped with hoist, changing bench and centrally located toilet. The toilet is accessible with a RADAR key.
There are 3 blue badge parking spaces in front of the museum on Lower Byrom Street. These operate on a first come, first served basis. Working guide and assistance animals are welcome at the museum.
